A couple of months ago, I took advantage of a feature in my contract with my last carrier and upgraded to a really nice phone. However, I never intended to continue on with that carrier past the end of our contract period. I felt their rates were too high and there were some hidden fees that I was not aware of when I signed the contract in the first place. So now I am looking for sim only contracts so that I can bring my phone over to my new contract, and not have to buy a new phone.

That would be very good for me, because I do not want to get a new phone. I really like my current phone a whole lot. It is awesome in a lot of respects. But there is another reason why I want to keep my phone and that is a financial reason. If I am not able to just bring my phone over, and have to get a new one, then I will have to sell my current phone for as good of a price as I can find. I am not sure how much it would go for, and I am sure it will not fetch as much as it cost me in the first place. Although, I did not have to pay much for the upgrade.

I guess that is not as big of an issue as I was originally thinking. I would probably come out ahead if I were to sell the phone. But the matter stands that I do not want to switch phones, on account of the fact that I really like this phone, and I also know how to use it well. So yeah, I am looking to find sim only contracts at the moment.

Frame rate / fps / frames per second (FPS)

- The frame rate should be the frame rate of the original file corresponding to
- Normal: 25 FPS (frames per second)
- For live video, in most cases, a frame rate of 15 frames per second is sufficient
- For interlaced video example of PAL input sources are 25 and not 50 frames per second using

Image quality

is a quiet video image with a speaker in front of quiet background required for good image quality far less data than a camera without a tripod, with a lot of motion as in a sports event

- Image noise complicates the encoding. Good lighting and good cameras allow a much higher image quality at the same bit rate.
- Considering a specified maximum bit rate, a trade-off between higher image quality with lower resolution and average image quality are found at higher resolution. A slightly lower resolution (for better picture quality), a higher resolution (at barely acceptable image quality) is preferable! Audiences will benefit usually far more of a subjectively good image quality (at medium resolution, also including scaled full screen) as high HD resolution with compression artefacts and stuttering.

Aspect ratio

- Use during the video encoding always the aspect ratio of your original file.
- Typically, today is 16:9, often-even 4:3
- The correct representation of the received stream, the video player for you to make. Sometimes you can use black bars above and below the image.

Codec and profile settings

For live streaming and file to a flash player, we recommend the format as “MP4″, codec: H.264, Profile: High, Level: 5.1, Keyframe Frequency: 3 sec

For live and file streaming to iPhone, iPad & iPod touch (including compatibility for Flash Player), we recommend the format as “MP4″, codec: H.264, Profile: Baseline Level: 3.0, Keyframe Frequency: 3 sec

Bitrate settings (file and live streaming)

You can set the bitrate freely and should be inspired by this, at the speed of your own internet connection as well as to the expected speed of your internet site visitors / spectators.

When streaming file, the bit rate can be adjusted to the possible download speed of your site’s visitors. Even at higher resolutions plays the performance of the hardware involved.

As in the example files from your streaming server account included as a template, you can use our players including HD Swicher. The player thus takes up the four different levels of quality of the automatic encoding (converting video above) back. The first time you play is started with a “normal” resolution of 360p (640×360 pixels) with a solid image quality.

The stream will then go immediately and displays the same video position to the video in HD for example. These resolutions can be used regardless of the size of video within your website. I.e. you can insert the player still in any size and aspect ratio on your page. The video image is automatically adjusted to the size (or full screen).

Depending on the selected video quality of the HD switcher, the image appears here particularly sharp and detailed, or rather rough and pixelated, if the user has deliberately chosen a “mobile-resolution” corresponds to the speed of its Internet.

Settings and Notes for streaming video (live streaming and file) – Resolutions, bitrate, fps, etc.

Resolutions

- Common resolutions. (In brackets is an aspect ratio of 4 to 3, given instead of 16 to 9.)

320 x 180 (320 x 240),
512 x 288 (384 x 288),
640 x 360 (480 x 3 60) = 360 p
854 x 480 (640 x 480) = 480 p
960 x 540 (720 x 540)
1024 x 576 (768 x 576)
1280 x 720 (960 x 720) = 720 p HD – Full HD 1080 p (1920 x 1080 pixels) is currently on the internet.

It is not recommended because 85% of users use monitors that such a resolution does not represent you, PCs and Macs with medium processor features and you see only jerky image. In the context of bit rate to 2000 or max 3000 kbit / s tends to FullHD resolution to image distortion).

A higher resolution than the original size of your original video is not useful.

Tricky part is choosing the right camera. A camcorder in terms of image quality, of course the best, but usually the most expensive solution. Digital cameras now provide mostly good videos too. However, it is not always easy to stream videos from your camcorder or camera to your computer.

Camcorder and the PC have a FireWire port, a cable ranges. On the computer, a Firewire interface Featured be retrofitted by card. Otherwise must be between both devices are switched often a box that converts about the HDMI signal from the camcorder to a FireWire or USB port. Rarely PC graphics cards have a HDMI input.

At least for beginners, it would be much easier to use a better webcam. Which is easy to connect via USB to the PC. This also applies to some, but not all Digkitalkameras. Here it is important that the manufacturer deliver a driver. To try out video streaming in principle satisfies even the built-in webcam in the notebook. “Today, they are often surprisingly well,” says Streaming expert Fabri.

Do not disregard the tone. “A lot of work so the computer while listening to the stream,” says Blanche Fabri. “The image then see and not have to rely on the sound.” She recommends when in doubt, prefer to invest money in a good micro as in a great camera. Play movies, home to the photo collection or replace the MP3 player: Current hardware combines all these capabilities – and the content usually provides the Internet.

Copyright must be respected

Who has camera or notebook may have problems. “It becomes difficult whenever I tangent rights of others,” says the Berlin media lawyer Thorsten Feldmann. If you want to stream, some events should observe the house rules: Are there notices that prohibit filming or photographing?

Is not the case, you still cannot bring everything and everyone into the net – because while you may violate the right to their own image of what is filmed. “At public events, is usually not a problem,” said Feldmann. “The participants have since often been tacitly consent to filming, or is an event of contemporary history.” If in doubt, you ask but rather one too many times, because the copyright law plays a role: “A presentation during a lecture can be protected,” said Feldmann.
